Search by original case email?

Hey guys, trying to figure out how to search by original email in a general search bar in cases section but I can't, originalEmail is empty, always, any ideas?

That is because the field is notStorable hence why the field is always empty see the code below

Thank you rabii, so is there any relatively easy way to search in tickets by email address it was created from?

hey Russ

may if you customise the originalEmail field and make it storable, it might work. another way is to create a relationship between the case and email and when an email is created and its parent is Case then update the case with the id of the email and then use this new relationship link to filter the case / search etc
