cannot open existing integer and float fields in entity manager

As in the subject I am not able to open existing integer or float field in an entity. The entity works, but when trying to open one of theses fields, the load circle appears and stays. No error, no hint. All other fields open.

can you reproduce in the demo?
any errors in the browser console?

Thanks, Kharg. I should know, to check all that first, but I didn`t. One outdated extension was the culprit. Thank you for asking. Problem solved.
