E-Mail template not pulling Phone Number

Email templates are not pulling in the phone number data for our custom entities.

{Assignment.phoneNumber} is blank on the templates.

I tested the same on the Live EspoCRM demo and got the same result.

Could not reproduce. Steps to reproduce and a version number are required in bug reports.

Hi, I probably have this problem. I recorded a screenshot of when and in what cases this problem occurs. I made the recording today using:

Case 1:
Sending an email from the Opportunity entity.
1. If a Contact is assigned to the opportunity, data from the Company entity is not downloaded.
2. If we remove the Contact from the Opportunity entity, the data from the Company entity is downloaded correctly.

Case 2:
Sending an e-mail from the Contact entity, data from the Company entity are downloaded correctly.

This is not a bug.

In the second case, {Account.billingAddressPostalCode} type placeholders work because the email parent is selected as an Account.

In the first case, {Account.billingAddressPostalCode} type placeholders not work, because the email parent is selected as an Opportunity.
In this case, you need to use placeholders of this type: {{account.billingAddressPostalCode}}.

Please make sure that the email parent is the Assignment entity.

If you want to get the phone number of the related Assignment record, when the email parent is another entity, then use a placeholder of this type: {{assignment.phoneNumber}}.
