Our suggestion:
A colored field where you can change the color with formula.
The area of the color should have 15x15 pixels or 15 pixels in diameter.
That would be a great help for us.

An other suggestion:
With formula you can control the image field. Formula writes a picture (it must be uploaded) into a image field. So you can decide which picture is displayed.
