    User activity & adoption analytics

Currently EspoCRM provides Auth Logs showing login timestamps, but there is no easy way to analyse user adoption and engagement over time.
It would be useful to have built-in user activity statistics such as:
    • Average session duration
    • Total active time per user
    • Number of sessions
    • Last login date
    • User activity trends by month
    • Inactive users (e.g. no login for X days)
This would help administrators monitor adoption, identify training needs and better understand how the CRM is being used.

This would be useful, especially for identifying inactive users and measuring CRM adoption.

I suggest separating the requirement into two levels:

    1. Metrics that can be produced from existing stored data, such as the last login, number of logins, inactive users, and monthly login trends. The official Advanced Pack reports and dashlets should be reviewed first for presenting these metrics without unnecessary custom development.

    2. Metrics such as average session duration and total active time. Login timestamps alone are not sufficient to calculate these reliably, because a session may expire without an explicit logout and an open browser does not necessarily mean that the user is active. These metrics would require additional session or activity tracking, together with a defined inactivity timeout and data-retention policy.

A practical implementation could start with the native reports and dashboards, then add a small extension only for the missing activity events. This keeps the solution simpler and reduces the development and maintenance cost.
