Project Management multiple assignees

Do you assign to a user who is a member of the project? By default, it lists only members but it's possible to clear the filter and select a non-member user what leads to the assignment error.

You can only assign members.

As of v1.3 it's possible to have multiple collaborators in project tasks. Can be enabled per project.

Note that with Report Filters it should be possible to create a list view filter to show only Project Tasks related to the current user through the custom relationship. Users can have a dashlet on the dashboard with this filter applied.

It's also possible to utilize the Workflows tool to notify all users when a task is created and they are related to that task.

Implementing multiple assignees would be quite a big endeavor.

Meanwhile, you can consider one or a few options from the following:

• mentioning users in the task's stream;
• sub-tasks assigned to different users;
• a custom many-to-many relationship Project Task - User with the link-multiple field just to be able to indicate that the task is related to specific users; this won't imply access control for the selected users.

Note that you will also need to allow the project members Read and Stream access for all project tasks within the project. This can be done with project roles.

Hi, I'm trying this extension and it looks good.
I just have a request. I work with more people in a team - they make gardens. And I would need one task to be assigned to several workers who work on it together
