(Advanced Pack) Create a Joint Report showing outstanding Tasks per Opportunity?

Hey Everyone,

I'd like to generate a list of Opportunities with outstanding Tasks under each.

I've setup two grid reports. One is for valid opportunities grouped by Account, and the other is for tasks grouped by Parent, where the parent is an account, set in the filter.

They individually list the relevant details, but nothing shows up in a joint report. This isn't too surprising, as the relationship isn't exactly clear.

Does anyone have a suggestion on how I could set this up?

In the grid report on Tasks, instead of grouping tasks with parent, group by Account and results will show in the joint Grid

I hope to show that as a list of tasks, rather than a count.

Might the same work for tasks assigned to Opportunities? (i.e. list of all tasks assigned to each open opportunity)
