remove links from administration

Hi

How do i remove certain links from the administration section?

There are some options like,
Authentication
Scheduled Jobs
Integrations
Extensions
System Requirements
Job Settings
Messaging
Portal
PDF Templates
Dashboard Templates

etc... we dont use this at all, to make the admin more simplified im trying to remove these options from the menu.. Can someone help me on how this can be done?

I know of no easy way to do this.

You need to replace/override this view 'views/admin/index' to remove the items you do not want to see.

You can modify the Administration panel metadata specs (easier than modifying and maintaining core views) but just like hard coding it is not upgrade safe.
