Hi yuri I'm not sure if this has been suggested before, but please consider using crowdsourcing as an option to do your translations. I'm not implying the translations are bad, in fact they are pretty good in my native language, but I think it's very hard for the devs to manage them at the moment. (sending po files back and forth etc...)
Why not use this service instead? https://crowdin.com/
I suggest this because I have been using this service for many projects. I'm a contributer and verifier for ENG->DUTCH and I know that translations are quick and painless with this web service. I bet they're quite a lot easier to manage for the developers as well. You can also add many more supported languages because "the world" can assist you with the localisation of your project. As an added bonus: if you are an open-source project, you can ask for a free account (invoiceplane does this as well, prestashop also, etc...)
