replacements for entityManager?

Hi all,

After battling with entityManager for over 2 hours to make a simple select statement, i have decided to give up on using it, and i am wondering if anyone has experience or advice on this?

ChatGPT is very much on my side and seems as traumatized as i am by the entity manager and has recommended a custom utility class, though i am tempted to go with eloquent as i am quite used to it

But it would be great to hear from someone who has done this before

Wow that documentation has drastically improved since i last looked at it. That is wonderful! i shall take a look, though i will probably end up using a more industry-standard package as it's just more made for developers and gives me more power and better syntax, and i have also found it difficult to work with EntityManager for it seems to have some setting where it won't save, or won't get a record. most annoying.

Still great to see the documentation improve so much!
