Send an Email to a User When a Lead is Assigned in EspoCRM

I’m trying to set up an automated email to notify a user whenever a lead is assigned to them. I would like the email to be sent immediately upon assignment, with relevant lead details included if possible. Has anyone configured this in EspoCRM?

Any advice or examples would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

1. In Administration > Notifications > Email Notifications > Assignment email notifications scopes add Lead.
2. In Administration > Users > User_name > Preferences > Notifications tick Email notifications upon assignment
3. In Administration > Template Manager > Assignment :: Lead put your placeholders and text.


You can also create a Workflow with sending an Email based on a template you have created.
