Interest in EspoCRM Development - Help Getting Started

Hi,

I'm new here and keen to learn more on how to extend EspoCRM to add some custom development. Unfortunetly I'm struggling to understand the documentation and finding any resources / tutorials to get started in learning how to make development changes to the system?

Does anyone have any links or resources that would be a good starting point to learn the basics? or maybe any videos that I could follow along to?

Start with the ext-template repository.

You can try to create a custom frontend route, that renders some view and calls a custom backend API endpoint.

You will need to understand Espo module system, Dependency Injection.
