  • Problem in the calendar view Version 5.6.14

    hello,
For the own modules based on Event, only own records are displayed in the calendar, not those of the other users. All records (corresponding to the role) are only displayed in the list view. Of course it worked before the updates.
In your demo version it doesn't work either.

    Hi Peter,

There were no any changes in this functionality, I believe.

Please provide detail info about your custom event entity. By default it doesn't have a relationship with users. So calendar shows only own records.

    I need more detail info.

      Hi Yuri,
We had not considered that each user only sees his own records in the calendar.

Our concrete problem now has to do with the common views:
We have our own module for resource management. You can see all resources via a common view (month) in the calendar.
The resources are created / assigned by different teams. Only the teams A,B,C,D,E were selected in the configuration of the common view.
In the calendar view also records of the teams F and G are shown - so all that exist in this month.

      Our biggest problem:
If Team E is deleted in the configuration of the shared view, no more records are displayed.
If you delete Team A, B, C, D, from the configuration, the data records are still displayed.

The user has the right (role) to read and change all records.
The user does not currently have a team role, only an additional role.

I'm not sure whether I get it.

A shared calendar shows events that users of selected team(s) see in their regular calendar. 'Teams' field of events is not taken into account, it only taken into account for access control.

        Example:

        team-a

        shared calendar view for team-a

        user-1 is in team-a
        user-2 is in team-a

Shared calendar view will show events assigned to user-1 and user-2. No matter which team those events have.
