Require First AND Last name fields

If I set a Name field as required, only the Last name portion is checked / has a popup shown when unfilled.

Where is this saved? I'm looking to make first name required also.

This is also relevant with addresses, I have set billingStreet, billingCity, billingPostalCode to be required but not billingCountry, however the popups don't reflect this.

It would also be great long term if the popups referenced the name of the sub-field, not the parent field, and also only those sub-fields that were required were highlighted.

In that photo, a popup should be pointing at Street.
