    CRON non allowed

Hello, my shared hosting service doesn't allow me to set CRON up. Alternatively my hosting provider gave me the possibility to program scheduled tasks (https request that can be executed every 30 minutes)).
Is there a way to execute scehduled task by https request? It's my only chance to run scheduled task like email notification,....

    Thanks in advance

    Hi,
    in v6 :

give response "only by cli", a hack exist ..search in forum but you will have other problem !

in v7 ... i don't think, i have just try demo.espocrm.eu/cron.php => file not found. (certainly best security and so then file not accessible )

    So resume : change hosting.
If you could give the project a star on GitHub. EspoCrm believe our work truly deserves more recognition. Thanks.

Who do you host with? It bit odd they disable that function. From my limited experience all shared hosting allow for CRON

Aruba shared hosting doesn't allow to set a CRON (confirmed by technical support). THe only possibility is to program a scheduled event (max repetition rate every 30 min) by http request. If Espo can be triggered by an http request please let me know

Espo can trigger HTTP Post request but it require a Paid extension to do.

That unfortunate to hear, you probably need to upgrade your host or move server, both of which option I'm sure you don't want to do.

You can use Windows (if you use Windows) and use some API software and do it on a schedule basis.

Without CRON you will be really limited in function.
      Working...
