  • Unable to save updates to records ?

    Hello Espo team,

We have just installed the latest 7.x release of EsproCRM in a shared hosting environment under Linux. Install went well and had no significant errors.

Login and initial creation of any record (users/accounts/contact etc) all work, however trying to update a given record does not save to the database went pressing the save button.

The "saving" pop up appears but never seems to action. When moving away from the page another notice in read reminds us to save the records.

There are no PHP errors listed in the web log.

Can you please suggest the best way to start to track down the problem ? - the logs folder did not exist so that has been created and file/folder permissions updated.

    Regards

    Sam

    Hi Sampler40,

Could you go to Administration > System Requirements and show a screenshot of these settings?
Also, before attempting to save the entry, open the browser console and check if any errors appear there.

I don't expect the above timing and memory limit setting to be an issue ???

          Sampler40,

Yes, the problem may be in this.

The HTTP 2 protocol error might occur if your network is hindering the web traffic between your device and the problematic web server in a way that the packet headers are becoming incompatible between the devices. Here, trying another network or using a VPN may solve the problem.

Also, recommended system requirements are an important thing that you should always pay attention to when any issue occurs.
Please try to change the current parameters to the recommended, make Rebuild (Administration > Rebuild) and check if you can save the records.
