Cron issue

I recently upgraded all the way from version 5 to 7.3.1. Everything seems to be working as it should except Cron is acting funny, especially the mass emails. Whenever i schedule a mass email for a specific time it executes but gets stuck in a processing status and will not finish. The only way I can get it to finish is to run the cron command directly from the CLI. Any ideas?

Please check if any errors appear in the EspoCRM logs. If so, post the log here.
