update from 7.08 to last and workflow

i have an espon 7.0.8 and i want to update on last 7.2.7
i have workflow component but i know if i will have some problem with update

Hi yberges,

Before upgrading, make a backup of your instance and database, and you can also export Workflows to protect yourself from unexpected changes or errors.

From my experience I can say that Workflows that are not too heavily loaded should remain exactly the same and workable after the upgrade. Moreover, you want to upgrade not from the oldest version.

It is also important that after upgrading EspoCRM to the latest version, you also have the latest version of the extensions (including the Advanced Pack extension).

ok how i can see workflow version and compare to changelog ?

You can check your extensions versions in Administration > Extensions.
Also, you can check the current (latest) versions of extensions on the EspoCRM portal.

i am in 2.8.9 can i update espo without too much trouble ?

You just need to try, it is impossible to say for sure, as it is always recommended to use the latest versions.
Again, don't forget to make a backup before upgrade.

hello i already read this message BUT i didn't see ligth message about remove all utf8mb4 to utf8 and now it workkkkksss
