  • Can I install espo crm on my bluehost managed wordpress hosting?

I have a Bluehost hosting service and I was wondering if espo crm can be installed there using cPanel or any other way.

That depends on many factors, which are not known for the reader in this forum. The requirements you may know from here: https://docs.espocrm.com/administrat...configuration/

In general it is possible, to install espocrm even in shared hosting, you do not need necessarily an own server. Depending on your provider, you may not be able to get some of the configuration out of the box, if at all.

Procedure: Create a subdomain on your hosting, upload the espoCRM files by FTP, create a MySQL or MariaDB database and start the installation process. Right in the beginning you will then see a whole page showing, if your hosting meets the minimum requirements. If not, try to have the pre-requisites of your hosting configured as necessary. Most providers will do that for you. If not, forget it and look for another provider.

You will need a bit knowledge and manual work. Preparing will not be possible automatically.

If you search for bluehost on forum you will find a few thread about it.

      1) I looked at Bluehost when I was trying to find a new server hoster: https://forum.espocrm.com/forum/gene...age2#post55658
      2) There seem to be a one-click installer option available but this is long time ago so it might not be there anymore: https://forum.espocrm.com/forum/inst...host#post21715

EspoCRM is quite Shared Hosted friendly (I installed mine on Shared Hosting, I use Hostinger by the way).

The issue is the PHP extension and version is where you might fail to install: EspoCRM is going to be v8 only PHP soon. And there is 2 Paid extension that not all Share Hosting might have. You probably best get into a trial and test.
