    Upgrade form 5.7.11 to 5.8.5

    Hi all,

We have a problem upgrading from version 5.7.11 to 5.8.5.

We have tried the upgrade like CLI and web interface.

    Maria DB 10.3
    PHP 7.3.20

Here are the errors when upgrading via CLI
    Code:

This is only an extract of the error code. Because it's twice as long, I can't post this one

Can anyone tell me what the problem is?

It seems like it's the problem of Maria DB 10.3, https://mariadb.com/kb/en/troublesho...s-with-innodb/

That's great, thanks for the info. But it would be great to do a database update, because new versions of espoCRM only work with newer databases, if espoCRM fixes these problems via a script or something like that. Because that has nothing to do with an automatic update.

Not everyone is a SQL specialist

      It's really annoying

      Greetings

In 99% cases upgrade process goes smoothly. Only in some cases can be some issues and it's related to different software version. This is only a small fee for using the self-hosted version

          Late but not too late

Sorry Tarasm, do you want an open source that can be self-hosted or do you want hosting on your end? Without the many users who host themselves and also struggle with problems, espoCRM would not be where it is today. So your answer is not very smart.

It doesn't make a good impression to treat bugs like that, it doesn't build trust. After all, we regularly buy modules and use espoCRM in a professional environment and can expect more from espo employees.

          regards
