Install on Lamp breaks with error: ‹­Z{oÛ8ÿ»ý\îa› üHÓv÷

Hello,

just tried to install Espo on my Lamp:
Ubuntu 14.04, Apache/2.4.7 (Ubuntu) , PHP 5.5.9-1ubuntu4.9, MySQL 5.5.43
with PDO, JSON, GD, MCRYPT enabled.
I went through the http://blog.espocrm.com/administrati...n-for-espocrm/ and made sure about permissions etc.

After entering the URL into my browser, I can see a 302 in my Apache log which forwards to /install/
The install page shows:

Not sure what's wrong there - any ideas?

Kind of got it working.
In install/index.php
I commented this one out:

// ob_clean();
And then it worked.
