    Bad Server Reeponse after DB restore

    HI, we had a EspoCRM Version 5.5.6. We install a fresh new on AWS using Bitnami Image - bitnami-espocrm-5.7.5-0-linux-ubuntu-16.04-x86_64.

    On my old system (5.5.6) I backup the DB with command:

    mysqldump --user=bn_espocrm --password=XXXX bitnami_espocrm > "db.sql"

    On new system (5.7.5) I restore the DB with command:

    mysql --user=bn_espocrm --password=XXXX bitnami_espocrm < db.sql

    There is no error message, but when I try to load the web page, receive the message: Bad Server Resonse

    The log show the messages:

    HI guys, I just issue the command:

    php /opt/bitnami/apps/espocrm/htdocs/rebuild.php

    And the error disappear, but I can't login with default or old passowrds

      Hello,
      you should:
      1. open the /data/config.php file in your old instance and copy these parameters:
      Code:
      'passwordSalt' => 'sad6as7d69afaga7fd7',
      'cryptKey' => 'asd7as8da0f8qagfa8f7aa0',
      'hashSecretKey' => 'ad7asd6as7das9d6asd69asd',
      2. open config.php file in your new instance and replace 'passwordSalt', 'cryptKey' and 'hashSecretKey' with copied.

        I am using the old config.php and then changing the DB details along with URL so in effect I have done what you have said above but still unsuccessful at logging in.

        The only way in is with by removing config.php and going through the setup process or creating a new users in the DB with Admin but we lose all our settings for fields and look and feel including logo. ?

        I have doube/trippled checked that we are creating the new version as described here

        If I can resolve this we can move forward with the Advanced Pack purchase.

        Thank you in advance

        MATO

          Hi,

          User login problem:
          To let your user login with the old passwords, you just need to replace only those parameters I have mentioned above, not a whole config.php file. If this way somehow is not working for you, you can restore the admin password by pressing 'Forgot Password?' link on the login form and following the procedure. After, change manually all passwords for all users.
          Logo and other uploaded files:
          Logo and other uploaded files are stored in the data/upload directory of your old instance. All stored files have named in appropriate to their IDs in the DB. So if you are using imported DB, please just copy all files to your new instance.
