I am self employed so I don't need anything extremely robust or expensive. I am looking for software that allows you to type in a name, and it will show you anything you input about them - you'd keep the window open while talking or as soon as you hang up, it would tell you "don't call this person after 2pm" or "has three kids" etc - along with phone number etc.
It would be awesome if there was a link that said "email this person now" and connected to mail, but thats ok. Most of my contacts are in my mail already.
I am on a MAC. Back at agencies, I know we had robust versions of this. But that's way overkill, I would like something free or scaling or minimal.
