Displaying a splash image/logo before login screen loads

I am very new to EspoCRM. Installation was easy enough and everything works great. However, each time I go to the install url for a new session (with no browser cache), I am getting about a 5-10 second delay (blank screen with only the footer showing) before the login fields pop finally appear. This delay also occurs when any page within EspoCRM is reloaded. It appears others have this same issue and the solutions that have been offered do not seem to reduce this loading delay. When looking at the browser's network activity, it appears that the file 'espo.min.js' just takes a little longer to load.
Is there a way to have an image/logo load temporarily (splash screen) for these few seconds until the 'espo.min.js' file completely loads?
