Email reminders not working

Hi,

After upgrading to 2.8.1 from 2.7, email reminders of calls and meetings aren't working, but pop up notifications are.

I tested every other option that sends emails to users, and they are all working, so the issue seems to be only with the new reminder system.

Can someone tell me which files shoud I check or where to configure these reminders?
