Cannot get installation to run

Hello,

I am installing EspoCRM for the first time. I set it up er the directions (and I have done similar installs many times before) and when I try to open the site (I have tried just the domain as well as index.php, \install and \install\index.php) I get a blankl screen in Firefox and in Google Chrome and error that says, Page isn't workign - test.site... iscurrently unable to handle this request.

Any ideas ?
