Unable to load Create User, Preferences, Outgoing Email ..."Loading"

We've have version 5.0.3 installed and have been reviewing and testing. We love what we see, but running into this issue, "Unable to load Create User, Preferences, Outgoing Email .. the system just hangs with "Loading".
We've confirmed server settings, etc, could use some guidance
Any help is appreciated.
