Unable to set-up SMTP server : Error 500 no route to host

Hello,
I'have installed EspoCRM for two different NGO I'm working for. This is really a great product, thanks to all contributors !
Unfortnately on both installations (different hosting - gandi.net; ovh.com) I got the same issue when trying to setup SMTP parameters : no route to host.
Of course, I tried with several SMTP server and even to provide IP address instead of server name.

Both installation are on shared hosting.

This error is not related with EspoCRM. One of possible reason could be server hosted on a dynamic ip address

Other one - firewall.
Or When connecting from different network google mail server won't let your web app to connect.
