New Instalation - upgrading PHP

Hello,

I tried to update my current espocrm with an updated php version, but got into trouble,

so i installed a new version of Espo and an updated PHP version

What's the best way (easiest way) to duplicate my older Espocrm version on the newer one.

Which EspoCRM and PHP versions were you using before, and which versions are installed now?

For a complete copy, you need both the old installation’s files and its database, including customizations and attachments. I’d first restore that copy in a separate environment with a compatible PHP version, then follow the supported upgrade path.

Avoid importing the old database directly into a different EspoCRM version before checking compatibility.

Im on php 8,2 - espo9
Want to upgrade to php 8.5 - espo 10

Yes, i have the old installation running fine.
I want to migrate all the data, and customizations.

Thanks, that helps. Since the old installation is working, I’d clone it first and upgrade the copy rather than move its database into a fresh EspoCRM 10 installation.

What is your exact EspoCRM 9.x version, and which extensions do you have installed? That will help determine the upgrade steps and when to switch PHP versions.
