Trying to do a postgresql install - getting PHP Error: pdo_mysql is not found

installing on a debian 13 vm. i have installed apache, postgresql, i have enable the mod_pgsql, i installed the app in /var/www/espo i browse to it in my browser and the install opens. Its on the database configuration page, i am selecting postgresql, i enter my db info and creditials, and then i hit "Test connection" I get the following error.

PHP Error: Extension pdo_mysql is not found

Will be fixed in v10.0.2.

While you can still install the system if you enable pdo_mysql. It's not needed for the system to function, but it's wrongly checked during the installation.
