    Espocrm 9.1.5 - problem with sending emails

    Hi guys,

    I'm trying to configure group outbound email account in Espo 9.1.5. When I'm trying to send test email I'm getting 500 error with blank page and nothing in logs. Email configuration was tested on other apps and everything works without any problems. Several email providers tested, same result everytime - Error 500. Any clues ?

    Please enable debug mode for your instance logs and try to reproduce the problem: https://docs.espocrm.com/administrat...ng/#debug-mode.

    Please also note that for correctly configuring Outlook email addresses, you should use the Outlook Integration extension, and for correctly configuring Gmail email addresses, you should use either App Password or the Google Integration extension.

      I think I was having this issue too but when I started using the Outlook extension and could just sign into the SMTP account through the OAuth, it made everything work correctly. Without the Outlook extension I think you need to setup an app password for the SMTP account. I did that in Azure and the app password was still not working for some reason so I signed into the account through the M365 login EspoCRM gives you with the Outlook extension. With the extension you just have to fill out the IMAP and SMTP information (leave the password fields empty) and once you hit "Save" an Outlook sign-in button will appear where you can easily sign into the account.
