Is it desirable to update mysql version when it comes out?
I am running espocrm + mysql using docker (not docker compose).
The mysql version i am using now along with espocrm is mysql 8.4
MYSQL_VERSION 8.4.0-1.el9
8.4.1 is now out. At some point, do I need to upgrade to 8.4.1 ? This would seem to be only possible IF EspoCRM recommends it and has made any necessary adjustments to new mysql version (if any are required.)
If it is OK, to upgrade mysql to 8.4.1, what's the best procedure to do so using docker (not docker compose)?
I had a major snafu doing it via a docker gui, I made a mistake and the container got deleted and I lost the entire data.
Thankfully, I had a backup and was able to restore everything pretty easily.
Thanks.
