How to hide expired documents

How can I hide by default the expired documents only to certain users/teams (the admin or a "super team" must be able to see them anyway), or forbid to download them?
Right now, I am already able to reserve the documents only to specific users/teams.

You can do it in SelectManager class.

Sorry. It's not so trivial so I can write in a few lines how to make it. It needs some investigation. I have no time for it.
