    Hi all,

    Since 4 day's ESPO stopped importing e-mails from Microsoft 365.
    The error what appears is: Error 500: cannot select INBOX, is this a valid transport?

    We using the Outlook integration (OAuth).
    The mailbox is connected to Outlook, that is working properly.

    Host outlook.office365.com
    Port 993
    Security SSL

    The permissions in AAD are not changed, nor the system is.
    In Outlook the Imap authorisations are still set.

    Experience the issue on Personal as on Shared, with New and existing mail mailboxes

    Does anyone have an idea what the problem can be, and how we can fix?

    EspoCRM: 7.2.7
    Outlook Integration: 1.2.9

    Hi Emilvb,

    When connecting to Outlook using the Outlook Integration extension and pressing Connect button, you must be asked to enter your credentials fully. This must be done if you did not enter the email address and password in the pop-up window earlier, because if you did, then in the pop-up window you will have the option to select email accounts. If the system just connects you without asking anything, then it's most likely the browser is using the stored values in cookies which allow connection, but may not allow access to the required scope.

    There are some recommendations for setting up an email account if you encounter errors when connecting to IMAP/SMTP.

    1. Ensure you are not signed into `office.com`.
    2. Clear cookies and other site data.
    3. Go to email account and connect to Outlook.
    4. Click Test Connection button in the IMAP section, check if successful.
    6. Click Send Test Email button in the SMTP section, check if successful.​

      I have a similar error. Got log message:

      [2024-03-27 10:30:58] ERROR: (0) cannot select INBOX, is this a valid transport?; POST /EmailAccount/action/testConnection; line: 210, file: /var/www/html/vendor/laminas/laminas-mail/src/Storage/Imap.php.​

      There is only one user affected by this Problem.
      Testet with cleared browser.

      Outgoing (smtp) test succeeded with the same credentials.

      Espocrm Version 8.1.4
      Outlook Integration 1.3.1​
