    Release Cadence

    I'm curious, does EspoCRM have a release cadence or are new updates release as soon as they are ready? Are there any monthly roll-ups or year-end releases? I'm completely fine with whatever, I'm just thinking from a planning perspective it would be nice to know.

    Thanks!

    There is no exact timeframe, you can check the Github to see their 'planned date': https://github.com/espocrm/espocrm/milestones

      Am I looking at the Due Date as the target release date? I see 7.2.9 doesn't have a due date but all issues in this milestone are complete. Am I understanding correctly or am I missing something?

      Thanks!

        Hi,
        as i know if not forget :

        x.y.z

        x = major release (big changement)
        y = minor release (?)
        z = bug correction

        so there are no bug.. so next release will certainly like 7.3.0 or 7.4.0 when i see all ehancement in github.
        you can see in github issue closed.
        the cadence depend i think for many test.
        only bug release is quick.

        Of course, it's my idea.. i am not espocrm team

      Yes it is "Planned", or "Maybe" date, not a due date or an expected date.

        The hotfix 7.2.7 was not yet released as found bugs are very minor.

        Minor release milestones get their due date, it's an expected release date that may change.

        If a milestone has all issues closed it does not mean that the milestone is up to be closed. New issues can be added there.
        If you find EspoCRM good, we would greatly appreciate if you could give the project a star on GitHub. We believe our work truly deserves more recognition. Thanks.
