Strange behaviour with permissions in roles

I have a few custom entities, that I want to put invisible for a certain user type.
So I created a role for that user type and put the entities, I do not want to display for these users in the role as "not set".
This works for most of my entities, but for some, after setting to "not set", that user is not able anymore to save newly create records.

The entities do not have anything in common that way, that I could see any pattern.

Nothing in Log File, although the saving does not work.

Has anybody experienced something similar or any idea of solution?
