Change language in description field

Hi there,

I have a situation with localization and I don't know how to solve it.

Suppose I have a Product "Samsung" and in the "description" field it is written in EN language: "black color, big screen". If a portal user changes his language in "Preferences" to DE, the description text "black color, big screen" remains in the original EN language. However, the portal user expects the text in the description to be in DE language since he has changed the language in the "Preferences".

Have you encountered this problem and how did you solve it?

Hello,

1. Create separate custom text fields for each language.
2. Have different layout sets for portal users. But this won't be automated when portal user changes their language.
