Accounts link in contacts list and viceversa

Hi,
I added in contact list layout the field "Accounts" but no one are displayed unless there are a few. But if I add "Accounts" to small list the accounts are displayed.
I do not know why this happens.

I solved the issue removing field from list layout, saving and adding the field again
