Currently I run EspsCRM on a Linode server where I have root permission and can set all Espo files with a user of www-data. Espo runs and updates fine.
I'm looking to moving to a managed ISP where I don't have root permission.
The default user of Apache files on this ISP is "nobody" or my username. They do offer suEXEC but I don't know how that would help me. I can't chown to www-data.
Can I run and update Espo when all of its files have user:group of "nobody" or must my user name?
(I don't know why this ISP uses 'nobody' rather than www-data for Apache default. I'll try to find out.)
