Espo as a Clocking System | Time and Attendance

Hello, we are trying to create our own Time & Attendance System using Espo CRM. We will be calculating timesheets using workflows and formulas (advanced pack) but we need an external machine that registers the clock in and clock out of employees using fingerprint/facial recognition. Is that possible with EspoCRM? Can we connect the recognition machine to send Data to Espo?

Might this question need to be forwarded to to the device you are using, if they can send data to an external url then yes you can create entry point or define new API

It depend on what you'll use as clocking machine. If you choose something what you can program or integrate with EspoCRM, then of course it's possible.
EspoCRM can also call some external endpoint and fetch data.

You can create jobs which will get data on schedule
