  • Mail assignation to... mechanics?

    I figured out that mail module somehow strange assign entities based on e-mail address. For example:

    1. we have contact, account and portal user under the same e-mail address. Why system in received e-mails field "FROM" assigned to Portal user not to a contact?

    2. When we compose email to some e-mail address the "TO:" field find e-mail in all entities... ? Can someone explain how the e-mail assignation is working on and can we change any settings in it?

    3. Another idea to explore is e-mail parent assignation, can we adopt AI there somehow to trainn it to mail assignation? It's become complicated if we use e-mail MS Outlook client and CRM under the same personal e-mail account then e-mails hierarchy become vierd.
