    Outgoing E-Mails (sent Folder)

    Hello,

I'm new to EspoCRM. Thanks for the development.

I have an understanding problem with an email account:
I have created a user e-mail account and receive e-mails there too. I can also answer e-mails from EspoCRM. Everything works as it should.

However, if I create emails outside of EspoCRM, e.g. via Thunderbird, then these emails do not appear in the sent folder inside EspoCRM. Why not? This does not open up to me.

It is an IMAP mailbox. Shouldn't that be possible or is there a misconfiguration / bug?

    Thanks for hints.

    Regards
    Martin

Thanks for your reply. Yes, i did configure this.

It is as i told: if i write outgoing email in EspoCRM, everything is fine. These emails appears in the defined sent folder and are visible in espocrm, also in Thunderbird.
If i write emails via Thunderbird, appears these emails not in the sent folder in EspoCRM.

On both sides it is the same IMAP account and if EspoCRM fetches via cron the emails, it should also fetch the complete sent folder.

As you can see on the attached screenshot, a lot of emails in the sent folder are missing in EspoCRM.

The INBOX folder is on both application equal. It works as designed.

Okay, then add Sent folder as Monitored folder in imap connection.

Are you sure, you are mapping the correct folder to Thunderbird/espoCRM. In IMAP there may be default folders and - as I know - thunderbird sometimes configures own folders. They may have the same names, but are different folders.
Have a look, if you are able to map another sent folder, in case there is another one.
