    Specific view on formula

The title of the thread should actually be "Solve customized view of contacts using a formula".

Only display contacts from a specific group in the list view. I would like to solve this using a formula, since this setting should apply system-wide. I know that I can display selected views under the 3 points. However, this setting is only ever for this one logged-in user. However, all users of the system should have the same view. Does anyone know which formula I can use to only display contacts that belong to a certain group of a selection field.

What formula are you referring to? You're saying you want all users of your CRM instance to have the same Contact search filters pre-loaded?

It's about this view. I only want to see contacts of a certain affiliation that have been previously specified via a selection field. And this view should be the same for all users. I can limit the view using the 3 dots above next to the search field, but each user has to do that himself. And then I thought I could solve this with the Entity Manager using a formula.

        Hi there.
You cannot achieve this with Formula. You need either:
        1. Develop such filter https://docs.espocrm.com/development...select-manager
        or
        2. Create a filter with Report feature from the Advanced Pack https://docs.espocrm.com/user-guide/...report-filters

OK thank you. Then I have to look at it at point 1. Therefore, buying the extension is not in proportion to the benefits.
