how to set "Assigned user" default to current user

For those without advanced pack : how would you set the "Assigned user" default to the user that created the record?

Hi,
By default, a user who creates a new record automatically became an assigned user of this record. Perhaps you turned off this functionality for your user. Please open the desired user's preferences and check the ''Do not pre-fill assigned user on record creation' parameter is not ticked.
Also, you can create the desired logic with Formula.
