Regular user login error

Sorry, I'm sure this is a total noobs question.

Admin users work fine, but when I create a regular user and attempt to log in I get, Wrong username/password.

What am I missing?

Hello,
Open your regular user's profile -> check the User Name field (it is your login). At the bottom of the user profile, you may reset the user password. Do it and try to login again.
I'm wondering what is the Authentication Method you have in the Administration -> Authentication?

It appears the issue is related to Cloudron. Admin users created in EspoCRM work fine, but not Regular users. I had to first create the user in Cloudron, then create the same user in EspoCRM. This is too clunky to be practical. I need to learn how it's supposed to work, or decouple the two. When EspoCRM is installed from Cloudron, it doesn't give me an open to have stand-alone logins like with some apps.
