Isn't it call "Required" box?

Open up any field in the Entity > Field > edit and check that box and save. Refresh browser just in case and now prepare to receive complain from user

Is it possible to make the fields mandatory? I would like to know if there is any option, to make the fields mandatory, for example when creating a contact, it can be saved only with their name, but is there any option that can make for example that the mail is also mandatory, or their address and telephone, and the same with the other functions, such as accounts or references.
