  • Tasks inside the portal. Is it possible ?

We have a CRM. Within the CRM, two customer portals have been created.
    Portal A and Portal B.
Each portal has its own users.
We want portal users to be able to create a task and assign it to another user of the same portal. In the diagram, I marked the problem statement with a red arrow.

In the standard work logic, we have to create a Task and select the Assigned User.
But when creating a task, the Assigned User field is inactive and we can't change its state. How do I do this ?
P.S. And yes we checked, the "read-only" field flag is disabled

    Hello Aleksey,
By default logic, the 'Assigned User' field is read-only for a Portal User. You need to set the additional permission to Edit the 'Assigned User' field in the Field Level of Role.

Nevertheless, the Portal User won't have the possibility to set any other user as Assigned User because the Assigned User may be only an internal system user (regular, admin type). The Portal Users cannot be assigned to any entry. For this, you need to change a system code.
Also the portal user cannot select any internal user to assign it. This scope is forbidden to it.

If you have Advanced Pack you can set the auto-assignment rule within Workflow https://docs.espocrm.com/administrat...ssignment-rule.
