Field level security issue?

Hi

Im trying to restrict the user to give the option to edit only certain fields on Leads and contacts,

The problem is that when i set the edit permission to own and add the field security to view and edit, it allows to edit all the fields. when i set the edit permission to no and then add the field permission, im unable to edit any value.

im using espo 5.9.3 https://nox.tips/

any help will be appreciated

I'm not sure if i understand you correctly, but you can go to permissions page(same where you're changing those permission) and on the bottom of that site you can set permissions to specific fields.
