EspoCRM Cloud solution setup from our on-premise installation

We are using EspoCRM on a on-premise test installation and evaluating if going in this way for broader corporate usage or switching to the paid Cloud.
As first question want to ask if will be possibile for Espo to import our DB so to maintain all the customizations we have done so far and the related data, and if this is part of initial setup or will be a paid consulting activity.

      Hi davide445,
It is possible to migrate your on-premise instance into the Cloud if you don't have any code customization.
So if you don't have such code changes you may contact our cloud specialist via this form https://www.espocrm.com/support/.

Maximus we don't have any code customization so far.
So we can eventually just provide the DB backup and you can import it, included in the initial setup effort?
Also it's not clear to me the Ultimate license file storage: 400GB shared by any number of users, or for every user?

          1. You will need to create your cloud instance here https://www.espocrm.com/cloud-registration/. After, in order to start the migration procedure you will need to contact our cloud manager here https://www.espocrm.com/contacts/.

We will need your DB backup. Also for the correct EspoCRM migration we will need your /custom and /data directories in case you already have some system customization or uploaded logo, images or attachment.

          2. On Ultimate license your EspoCRM instance will located on a separated server. You will have 400GB of a total disk space for your instance and DB, despite of how many users are there in your system.

            1. This DB and /custom /data import and configuration activity is to be considered a paid consulting one?

Nope. It is the standard actions upon the migration procedure.

Maximus last question: since on Cloud the upgrade is automated I understand, we will be needed to purchase the extension annual subscription every year? I suppose will be needed to maintain the compatibility with new EspoCRM releases.

All extensions are included into the cloud version and you don't need to pay the annual subscription for them. You just pay for the utilizing the cloud in accordance to plan you will choose.

I think the advanced packages is always included, as for the other extensions such as Sales Pack, I don't think you will need to renew it unless due to compatibility issue, which would force you to renew a new subscription so you can get updated version.

But I don't think there will be any major code change until we hit version 7

Sorry updated; I mis-read the section previously shown here: https://www.espocrm.com/cloud/

You just need to enable the Extensions. Whereas the Advanced Pack is enable by default (from the way it worded)
              Working...
