Error 500 when adding fields

Hi, I'm getting this error after adding new fields on the Account form. We added several fields in a panel. Any ideas on how to troubleshoot, identify the cause and how to resolve? We have tried adding one field at a time, still ending up with the error. Thanks!

Hi, first thing to do always is to have a look into the log file. The most recent errors are logged at the end. If you have something there, you might post it here.
You will find the log-file in the folder data/logs

This can be related to access levels or sometimes it can be like entity mandatory but not included in the layout. As shalmaxb said if you dont know what you did wrong ,first thing you have to do is to look at the error log in the data/log folder. paste the error log here if you seeking help.

Sometimes after you change something in files, you have to do a rebuild and clear cache in system. Everything is in admin section.
